Аннотация

Токсины скорпионов, блокирующие калиевые каналы, в настоящее время служат незаменимыми молекулярными инструментами исследований в нейробиологии. При этом наблюдается острая нехватка соединений, селективно воздействующих на определенные изоформы каналов. Ранее из яда Среднеазиатского скорпиона Mesobuthus eupeus мы выделили целый ряд токсинов, воздействующих на потенциал-чувствительные калиевые каналы. Далее мы изучили активность двух сходных токсинов M. eupeus, получивших названия MeKTx13-2 и MeKTx13-3, на панели калиевых каналов и обнаружили, что они характеризуются селективным действием в отношении изоформы Kv1.1, экспрессия которой характерна для центральной нервной системы млекопитающих. Мы полагаем, что эти результаты позволят получить производные токсинов с повышенной селективностью к Kv1.1, которые будут востребованы в исследованиях нервной системы.
